How do you calculate weeks between two dates?

To calculate weeks between dates, count the total days between the start and end date, then divide by 7. Calcadian also shows the remaining days after full weeks, plus the duration as a decimal number of weeks.

How do I calculate weeks between two dates?
Count the total number of days between the start and end date, then divide by 7. The whole-number part is the number of complete weeks; the remainder is the leftover days. Calcadian does both and also shows decimal weeks rounded to two places.
Does the calculator include the end date?
By default, no — it counts the gap between the two dates, so January 1 to January 8 is exactly 1 week (7 days). Turn on “Include end date” to count both endpoints, which adds one extra day to the total.
How many days are in a week?
Seven. Weeks are uniform across the calendar regardless of month length, leap years, or time zones, which is what makes week-based planning so useful.
What is the difference between total weeks and weeks plus days?
Total weeks (decimal) divides the total days by 7 and keeps the fraction — for example 31 days is 4.43 weeks. Weeks plus days splits that into 4 whole weeks and 3 leftover days. Same duration, two ways of reading it.
Can I calculate business weeks instead?
