Connect Calcadian to your AI assistant

Add Calcadian to ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant that supports remote MCP servers, and it can work out dates, business days, ages, hours worked, week numbers and timestamps for you right inside the chat.

You will paste this URL into your assistant in the steps below.

Connect

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT Apps settings and turn on Developer mode (read the risk notice shown there). If you cannot see it, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. Open the New plugin dialog.
  3. Enter Calcadian as the name and paste the URL above into the URL field.
  4. Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom server), then click Create.
  5. Enable Calcadian from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT something like “how many business days until 15 December?”.

Claude

  1. Open the pre-filled Claude connector dialog.
  2. Review the name and URL, then click Add.
  3. If the pre-filled form does not open, go to Claude’s Connectors page, choose “Add custom connector”, name it Calcadian and paste the URL above.
  4. Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

  1. Run this in a terminal:
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http calcadian 'https://calcadian.com/mcp'
  1. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Calcadian is connected.
  2. Ask Claude Code to use it.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client’s MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. Name it Calcadian and paste the URL above.
  4. Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after Calcadian changes

Assistants remember the tool list from when you connected. After we ship updates, refresh the connection to pick up the latest tools.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select Calcadian.
  2. Scroll to “Information” and click Refresh.
  3. ChatGPT cannot change an existing URL, if it changed, delete Calcadian and connect again with the URL above.
  4. Start a new chat and ask it to use Calcadian.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select Calcadian.
  2. Refresh or update the connector’s tools.
  3. Claude cannot change an existing URL, if it changed, remove the connector and connect again with the URL above.
  4. Ask Claude to use Calcadian.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session; it loads the latest tools on connect.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove calcadian and run the install command again.
  3. Ask Claude Code to use Calcadian.

Other MCP clients

  1. Open the client’s MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select the connection you created for Calcadian.
  3. Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
  5. Start a new chat or session and ask the assistant to use it.
