Why Calcadian exists
Most date calculators online are buried under ads, popups, and signup walls. We wanted something different: a small, focused set of tools that do calendar math accurately, load fast on a phone, and don't ask anything of you in return. Calcadian is the result — nine calculators, one job each, no clutter.
Accuracy principles
Calendar math sounds trivial until you hit leap years, month-length differences, ISO week edge cases around New Year, and time zones. Our calculators are built to handle these correctly:
- Day counts use whole-day arithmetic that's immune to daylight-saving shifts.
- Age and "X months from today" calculations follow the conventional civil rules (same day-of-month where possible, clamped to the last day of shorter months).
- Week numbers follow the ISO 8601 standard — Monday-start weeks, week 1 contains the first Thursday.
- The Unix Timestamp Converter shows both local time and UTC so you can spot timezone confusion at a glance.

Privacy-first by design
Every calculation runs in your browser. The dates you enter are never sent to a server, never logged, and never stored. There are no accounts, no profiles, and no per-user data. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for anonymous traffic stats, and they only load after you accept cookies — see the privacy policy and cookie policy for details.
What Calcadian does not do
- No ads on calculator pages.
- No popups, interstitials, or newsletter walls.
- No required sign-up. There isn't even an account system.
- No selling or sharing of input data — your dates stay on your device.
- No country-specific public-holiday database. The Business Days Calculator lets you add your own excluded dates instead, since holidays vary by country and region.
Where Calcadian is headed
The roadmap is focused on depth, not breadth. We're prioritising better mobile UX, faster page loads, more thoughtful sharing and copy-to-clipboard flows, and edge-case correctness across the existing tools. New calculators will only be added when there's a genuinely common, clutter-free use case we don't already cover.
