Terms of Use
These terms explain how Calcadian works and what to expect when you use it. By using the site you agree to them.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Calcadian at calcadian.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated version.
General informational use
Calcadian provides free date and time calculators for everyday planning, counting days between dates, adding or subtracting time, finding ISO week numbers, converting Unix timestamps, and similar calendar math. The site is provided for general informational and personal-planning use only.
Calculator accuracy and limitations
We work to keep calculations accurate and to follow widely accepted standards such as ISO 8601 for week numbers and the proleptic Gregorian calendar for date math. However, results can vary depending on time zone, daylight saving time, local calendar rules, public holidays, jurisdiction, browser settings, and the inputs you provide. The Business Days Calculator only excludes weekends and any custom dates you enter, it does not automatically know your local public holidays.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the dates, times, and options you enter, and for any decisions you make based on the output. Double-check critical results before acting on them. The public calculators run in your browser and do not transmit the inputs you enter.
Accounts
Some features need an account: the API, Business Calendars, saved widgets, batch processing and Calculation Reports. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and your API keys secure, and for activity carried out with them. One account is for one customer. Do not resell Calcadian access, share API keys outside your organisation, or attempt to bypass plan limits.
Paid plans and billing
Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Plan limits are the ones shown on the plans page and enforced by the product. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not delete your calendars, widgets or keys; the features they belong to simply stop being available at that plan level. Prices may change, and any change applies from your next renewal after we tell you.
Acceptable use of the API and widgets
Do not use the API or embedded widgets to attack, overload, or probe Calcadian or any third party, to circumvent rate limits or quotas, or to build a service whose main purpose is to redistribute Calcadian's calculations as your own product. Embedded widgets may only be used on domains you have licensed on your account.
No professional advice
Calcadian is not a substitute for professional advice. Results, including Calculation Reports, are not legal, tax, payroll, HR, financial, accounting, medical, regulatory or other professional advice. A Calculation Report is a record of how a result was produced. It is not a certificate and carries no legal standing. For decisions with legal or financial consequences, confirm dates with a qualified professional or the relevant official source.
Holiday data
Business Calendars use a third-party public holiday dataset. Coverage varies by country and region, and governments can change holidays at short notice. We provide the data as it is published to us and do not warrant that it is complete or current for your jurisdiction.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Calcadian available and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, and we do not offer a service-level guarantee. We may add, change, remove, or pause features at any time. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell paying customers before it takes effect.
Intellectual property
The Calcadian name, logo, written content, page layouts, and underlying code are owned by Calcadian or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the calculators for personal and internal business planning. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, or rebrand large portions of the site without permission. Short quotations with attribution and a link back to Calcadian are fine.
Limitation of liability
Calcadian is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calcadian and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any result, including missed deadlines, scheduling errors, or financial loss.
