Calcadian's calculators are designed for everyday planning. This page explains what they are — and are not — intended for.

General planning and informational use

Calcadian provides free date and time calculators for general planning and informational use. They are useful for scheduling, project timelines, personal milestones, and quick calendar math, but they are not designed for, and should not be used as, an authoritative system of record.

Calculations can vary by context

Date and time results can vary based on time zone, local calendar rules, public holidays, daylight saving time transitions, jurisdiction, browser settings, and the exact input you provide. Calcadian uses widely accepted standards — including ISO 8601 for week numbers and the proleptic Gregorian calendar — but cannot reflect every local exception automatically.

Business days and holidays

The Business Days Calculator excludes Saturdays and Sundays by default. It does not automatically include public holidays for any country, state, or region. To match your real working calendar, add each holiday you observe using the custom excluded dates field. Always confirm critical business deadlines against your own holiday calendar.

Time duration tools

The Time Duration Calculator and Age Calculator are general utilities. They are not payroll, HR, legal, tax, billing, attendance, or compliance systems, and should not be used to calculate wages, overtime, statutory leave, benefit eligibility, or other regulated time-based entitlements without independent verification.

Unix timestamp converter

The Unix Timestamp Converter is provided for general technical reference. While it follows the standard POSIX epoch (seconds since 1970-01-01 UTC), edge cases — leap seconds, pre-1970 dates, very large values, and platform-specific behaviour — may need confirmation in your own environment when accuracy matters.

Verify critical dates

For anything with real legal, financial, medical, or contractual consequences — court deadlines, visa or immigration dates, tax filing dates, contract notice periods, medical due dates, payroll cut-offs, statutes of limitation, or official government requirements — verify the result with the relevant authority, official source, or qualified professional before acting on it.

No warranty

Calcadian is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that results are error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Use of the calculators is at your own risk, and Calcadian is not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the output.
